Anyways, she's all dolled up for a day at the beach. The coconut tree is a Sizzix Hello Kitty die that was just released last month. I embossed the tree trunk with the wood grain folder and I couldn't believe that I found that thought bubble punch in my drawer. Its a real old punch from EK Success that was one of my samples when I used to rep that line. I'm not sure if they even make that punch anymore.Well, hope you all had a great Father's day yesterday. I spent the day with my husband since he's a daddy too. Thanks for stopping by today and I'll have another sample tomorrow using up the other half of this card.

They even had a kiawe grill going and you could smell it from far away.
So, this was me and my bike everytime we stopped. Remember, my kickstand broke off from the start of the bike ride.
We ended up eating lunch at California Pizza Kitchen in Kailua town. This was after we rode our bikes from Lanikai to Enchanted Lake. I wanted to go to Ben Franklin Crafts.
And I always have to take a photo of us in the car. That's my husband making that same funny smile everytime I try to take a photo of us.

I don't know why this photo is coming out sideways but you can see the texture in the woodgrain. The "you're special" is another little stamp from one of the ink & stamps from Hero Arts.
Well, tomorrow is my birthday and my husband actually took the day off to spend it with me. We're going to ride out bikes and get some exercise and hopefully eat cake too.
Thanks for stopping by and hope your weekend is full of fun!

I used the new Sizzlit set, flowers, branch and leaves to decorate my box. Stamp is from Hero Arts from one of the ink & stamp sets and I used nesties label 4.
If you're going to make this pie box, use a stiffer, thicker cardstock so the pie box holds its shape. I used Worldwin doublemates cardstock. It's 2 cardstocks glued together and you're getting 2 different shades of color.
I had no idea today was a state holiday. It seems so odd when it doesn't fall into the weekend. Early this morning we went walking at Ala Moana beach park and the parking was getting pretty tight.
Well, thanks for stopping by today and hope you're enjoying all the sunshine we are having.

Sizzix XL card, scallop #2 die, ladybug die, flourish #2 die, and flower layers #3 die.
Well, tomorrow is our anniversary and we made plans to have dinner at Morton's Steakhouse. My husband is so funny because he can't remember the date of our anniversary and my birthday which is coming up this month too. I have to remind him every year. LOL!
Thanks for stopping by and hope you're all having a great evening!

Step 1:Run your cardstock and embossing folder through the Big Shot machine. Also, using your scraps, run the colors you want to use for your flowers through the machine.
Step 2: This is what you should end up with. You can use other colors for each flower or 1 main color, but you will need to emboss enough flowers for each different flower on the card.
Step 3: Using a Tsukineko VersaMark ink pad, gently rub across the embossed images on your cardstock. This will deepen the color and make the embossed images pop.
Step 4: Using your scissors, cut out each flower for the card.
Step 5: Attach each flower to the card using a pop dot to give it dimension. You can also punch out a border like I did for the bottom of the card and attach a ribbon. I used Hero Arts bling for the centers of each flower. I applied Stickles glitter glue over the Thank You.
And there you have it! Thanks for stopping by today and hope you get a chance to make a quick and easy card using up your scraps.
