Sizzix Triple Play Blog Hop Week 3 - Merry Deer

Good morning and welcome back to week #3 of the Sizzix Triple Play Blog Hop. For this week's project, we used Brenda Pinnick's beauty bloom flower die. There are several different sized flowers on the die but I decided to use only one of them. I made the flower using Tim Holtz's rose flower technique and glued and poured chunky white glitter over the petals. The box is cut from the Eclips machine.
The cute deer is a new die release that I cut out of chipboard and glittered.
You can visit all the other designers by clicking on the navigation buttons on the upper right side of my blog. It's been so amazing seeing all the different ideas that come out of the chosen die for the week.
Supplies:
655455 - Flower, beauty bloom
656734 - Flourish, holly & mistletoe
657049 - Deer
Sizzix white chipboard
Button, baker's twine and ribbon
Ultra fine glitter - deer
Chunky glitter - flower
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to come back next week Thursday (Thanksgiving) for week #4's project. Have a great day!!!

You just posted this and here I am sending a comment. I was so excited to see the Rudolf (spelling?) die cut that I couldn't wait to say, "WOW!I NEED that die...now!" Your project is just too cute for any other comment except "WOW, WOW! WOWZER!".

I just got that reindeer die too, C! It looks so great with the glitter. I also love how you layered and chunky-fied (it's a word!) the flowers. Such a festive project. Love it!

This is just so amazingly sweet. Love what you've done with all of the dies.

I'm all Christmas-ee inside now...in a very stylized-retro kind of way. Your design harkens the graphic style of the 60s, yet is very current in it's subtle use of color and tone. Really nice. SNAPS!

Hey Cheryl;
This is one gorgeous box! You're so cool, don't know how you keep coming up with such wonderful ideas. I think I'll have to get that Rudolph die. For the little ones of course. They had fun playing with the dies I bought from J's, I know they would love this one.

This reindeer reigns w/ all the glitter, on the flower, too. Mahalo for a delightful gift box idea.
