Just for you

I was at the store about a month ago and found some clear acetate paper and thought about making something with it using the Eclips machine. I chose this top handle bag style since I knew that there was only one side that needed to be taped to assemble the bag. I was surprised that the Ghirardelli chocolate squares fit perfect in it. I used the hedgehog stamp from Dandelion Designs "hello" set. Oops, I kind of smeared the glitter glue on the flower.
The little white tag is a Martha Stewart punch and the lace border is also a Martha Stewart punch.
Lately, I've been feeling a little uncomfortable where we live. We have a shoe thief that has been stealing our shoes. It's a creepy feeling knowing that it is someone in our neighborhood that is watching us to see when we leave the house. So, we had to put all our everyday shoes and slippers inside the house to stop this thief from stealing them.
Well, I have a bunch of cards to make this weekend and I hope I can finish them and also post them.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving your sweet comments! Have a great evening!!!

Hi Cheryl~
First of all this treat bag is awesome - what a great yummy idea...Isn't that Hello set awesome?
Secondly, it's so shameful to even think that they are people in this universe that don't have anything better else do with their life but to go out and steal their neighbor's footwears... Must be a sicko! Hope they can catch that toe jam...
Hugs my friend, and try to get a great weekend..

What a great idea to make a container from acetate. Where did you get the acetate thick enough to make a container but thin enough to cut cleanly? Did you use glue or tape to put it together? That's creepy about the shoe thief. Maybe it was a dog or cat. Our family dog used to steal shoes but he wasn't smart enough to steal pairs. Were you missing pairs? It was embarrassing to have to return the shoes to the neighbors. LOL!

I didn't know they sold full sheets of acetate. I save the packaging of Cricut carts or any other packaging. I would love to create a treat bag like yours. I just have to be on the lookout for some. :) A shoe thief! Yikes, that's just crazy. Stay safe. :)

Hi Cheryl,
That is such a cute treat bag and I love how you decorated it.

I saw your comment on my post. Yah, I was hoping to meet you at J's but really couldn't "schedule" a set time as the family had other places to go too and it was at a moments decision to go where ever. My hubby was everyone's driver.

I had a blast shopping at J's and will definitely stop by again next time. Hopefully then I can let you know ahead of time.

I sure hope the shoe thief will be caught very soon. Ohhh, it is a creepy feeling.

Have a great day.

Karen :-)
