It's that time of year

Sometimes while I'm working on a project, my mind goes blank. So I tend to stray away and work on something else. These days that means playing with all the different cartridges for my Eclips machine. While making this witches hat, I decided to use the Halloween and Scaredy Cat cartridge to decorate my hat.
And because I made the witches hat in black, I wanted to make sure that you could see the black spider. So I cut the spider in black and also a taupe color and placed the taupe paper under the black spider to outline it.
That's a new Hero Arts stamp from the "Spooky Halloween" set that I stamped on the orange rectangle piece. The box that I used is an older Sizzix XL die called triangle box.
Hope you're having a fun filled holiday weekend and thanks for popping in and leaving your sweet comments!!!

Hi Cheryl.....I like how you cleverly changed that box into a witche's hat! I've used it as a carrot for Easter but I'm glad to have another use for that Sizzix die. Loved you on the Joy of Crafting showing the Eclips machine.

Hi Cheryl,
Oh, you're so clever. Neat idea.
I like how you have the "cute" spider hanging from his web. :-)

Now this is a darn cute witchy idea! I've had that triangle box die for a while and haven't used it yet.
Thanks for sharing such fantastic ideas with all of us.
