Recently, I've been seeing a lot of deco tape used on cards in blogland. While I was in one of the Sanrio stores last week, I found a bunch of tape rolls with different designs and well, I ended up buying a bunch of them. They even have Hello Kitty ones. So that is what inspired me to make this strawberry card. I used a Sizzix die called flower and strawberry to die cut the strawberry. This was a die from last year's release.
Mother's Day is coming up next month and here is another idea for mom using a Sizzix die. This one is the scoreboard tea cup die that is a brand new release. I had leftover purple covered chipboard so that is why the tea cup is purple. I embossed it with a new textured impression folder called birthday set #3.

I have that exact tape also! I am on a major Japanese Washi tape obsession! I bought a whole buttload when we were in LA. I've been using them off and on and just got another order of them in! Love them!
Love all your creations great job as always!
Both cards are beautiful! I love the decorative tape! I used to have alot of those long time ago! The teacup is so pretty with all of the roses!
Both the teacup and strawberry cards demonstrate your skill in elegant graphic design. I love the special details that make them Cheryl creations.
Oh, so purty! That rose flower die must be one of the most difficult sizzix dies to find nowadays... hopefully I can get my hands on one soon!
