Quick, easy thank you card

Here I am again using up scraps from my stash to make a very quick thank you card without stamps or diecuts. This card is made out of a Sizzix embossing folder. I tried to get a better photo of the card but this was the best I could do.I used a white Bazzill cardstock for the card which I cut 5 1/2" x 9 1/2" and folded in half. The Sizzix folders are a little bigger than an A2 size card so I had to cut the card base to fit the folder.

Step 1:Run your cardstock and embossing folder through the Big Shot machine. Also, using your scraps, run the colors you want to use for your flowers through the machine.

Step 2: This is what you should end up with. You can use other colors for each flower or 1 main color, but you will need to emboss enough flowers for each different flower on the card.

Step 3: Using a Tsukineko VersaMark ink pad, gently rub across the embossed images on your cardstock. This will deepen the color and make the embossed images pop.

Step 4: Using your scissors, cut out each flower for the card.

Step 5: Attach each flower to the card using a pop dot to give it dimension.You can also punch out a border like I did for the bottom of the card and attach a ribbon. I used Hero Arts bling for the centers of each flower. I applied Stickles glitter glue over the Thank You.

And there you have it! Thanks for stopping by today and hope you get a chance to make a quick and easy card using up your scraps.

Thanks for showing us a great way to use that embossing folder! I never thought to use it that way. I didn't like how it came out on a card so I stopped using it. Now I have to dig it up and try it =}
