Men at work

LOL! Funny to see men doing make & takes. They never ask questions or
talk to each other. And they finish their projects in less than 5
minutes.

Hello Kitty candy bag

Hey, if you want to learn how to make the Hello Kitty candy bag that I
did for Crafts in the City, go here, www.craftsinthecity.net and watch
the video that Joy made.

CHA - day 3

Today the show was a lot slower than the last 2 days. I was able to
visit the companies that I needed to get catalogs from. And now we
have to figure out how we are bringing everything home with us.
I made this checkbook holder at the Sizzix booth today. The flower was
cut out of wool felt and it's 2 different flower dies. The leaves are
also 2 different Sizzlit dies. The vine in the background is a deco
strip die.
It's been so cold that we have to put the heat on at night. Well, I'll
post tomorrow. Goodnight!

CHA - day 2

Can you believe this is the 2nd time I am posting this? I don't know
what happened to the other post. It's somewhere in cyber space.
Anyways, here's a photo of yesterdays make & take at the Sizzix booth.
All the dies used are new dies soon to be released. We made this
scrapbook using all the new soon to be released dies. The square
scallop die is a bigz clear die that we cut chipboard to make the book.
Well, I'll be back later. Have to leave for work again.

CHA

Today was the first day of the show and I didn't get a chance to see
much, but hopefully tomorrow I will.
Here's a sample of a make & take I did at the Sizzix booth. It's a new
pop up die. It's really cute IRL. I tried to take a photo of the card
front but it's hard with a phone. I'll take one later because it's too
cute!!!
I'll be back again with more photos.
Time for bed, goodnight.

We made it!

We woke up this morning and it was rainning again. I went to my sales
meeting and when I left the hotel, the rain stopped. So, we decided to
take a chance and go to Disneyland to visit with Mickey. It turned out
to be a clear day after all. It was our first time over at the
Adventure side. We stayed for 6 hours. I'm pooped and I have a 7:30
meeting tomorrow and it's the first day of CHA. So excited to see all
the new products! Time for bed, goodnight.

Oh what a day

It's our first day here in Anaheim and it's rainning! So instead of
spending the day at Disneyland, we decided to do some shopping. On our
way back from South Coast Plaza, we decided to go to the wax museum.
Well, after the drive there, it was closed. For good.

And then I'll start on CHA 2008.So, I was looking at my clear stamp samples and saw this cute froggy. And I had to use the crown that comes with him.
Here's a closer look at him.

Hero Arts - Sending Happy Thoughts
Spellbinders - Petite scallop and classic circles
Cuttlebug - Hearts embossing folder
Hero Arts red bling
Red Stickles

Whoo loves you?

I love this new Hero Arts clear stamp set! The owl is just too cute. And I had to make him in my favorite color - pink! I made this card a little different than I normally do. First I cut out the card using my Sizzix die, card kit #3. Then I embossed it with the swiss dots folder. I cut out the middle with my hearts nestabilities dies using both the classic and scalloped heart. You can sort of see it here in this photo. I used the leftover heart from the red scallop to put in the inside of the card and cut out another scalloped heart in white. And here's the cute little owl, full of love. I attached him to a mini wooden clothespin. I have to share this with you, as I was trimming around the owl, I actually cut off one of his little legs. I didn't want to stamp another owl so I glued the tiny little leg on. You probably can't even see it in this photo.
All stamps are Hero Arts. Actually, I used "Whoo loves you" and "Love many ways".
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!!

Test tube babies

Haha! Couldn't think of a title for these test tube candy holders that I made yesterday. But, aren't they the cutest little things? I picked them up from Stamps & Memories right before Christmas thinking that I was going to make something to attach to the gifts. I was having the hardest time finding those red and green M&M's. You can't fit too many candies in these things so I was on a quest to find them. As it turned out, I didn't find any. So yesterday I saw the candies at Walmart and grabbed a bag since half the box was gone. The little oriental girl stamp is from the Hero Arts Sparkle Clear line and the tag is a Spellbinders die.

Thanks for stopping by today! I'll be posting more throughout the week.
