I made this box last week after I gave up on another box that I was working on. I got distracted while looking at this die. This BAB die from Sizzix is actually quite cute and can be used on a number of things.
This box is called Box #3 and it was initially a Crafter's Home exclusive die but is now available to all the stores. It is a very big box and can probably hold a mini loaf of banana bread.
This next box is a new die from Sizzix called ornate box. It's a smaller version of Box #3 but with a cut out window on the cover. I used some new girlie stamps from Hero Arts. I made a bunch of these to give away.
I think I overdid the blush on her cheeks.
I just have a few more to make and then I'm finished.
Here's a photo of the side of the box so you can see the size of it compared to the first box on this post.
Well, I want to wish all of you a very Happy New Years and thank you for always visiting my blog!!! See you in 2010!!!

It turned out just the way I wanted it. The size is quite big and great for putting treats in it. The snowflake is a Sizzlit die that I glittered with stickles and topped it off with a gemstone.
These are so cute! One of my husband's customers made these his and hers snowman covered Hersheys candy bars. The packaging is so cute that I'm afraid to eat the candy in it. LOL!

Here is the make & take that I did for Crafts In The City on Wednesday. The cone was made using the Sizzix circle scallop die. We texturized the paper and die cutted snowflakes and attached some red bling and of course I had a cute package of candy to put in the cones.
The weight of the ornament made the box a little top heavy since I didn't fill the box with anything so I had to tape the box down to take the photo. You can sort of see the pleat on the side of the box.
Here is a shot of the back of the box. See on the top where the box closes? That's where it looks exactly like the pillowbox. The bottom of the box is flat so that is what makes this box look different.
