Happy President's Day! Here's another card that I made at the Sizzix booth during the CHA show in LA. I just noticed that this picture of the card is not that great. I hope you can picture what it looks like. The die we used is called card A2 with flap and should be in the stores next month. The background is an embossing folder set called cornflowers and posies. The cute little bird is a sizzlit set called bird set #2.We made a mini booklet for the inside of the card and used an embossing folder set called birds and wreath.
Hope you're keeping busy today. I have more cleaning to do in my craft room. It is endless because everytime I take supplies out to make something, there's always a big mess. And for some reason, you would think that by using up your supplies you end up with less items but it always seems to end up being more. Yesterday's card and some previews

Please bear with me as I've been trying to post often but since the CHA show, it's been really hectic. Here's a card that I made yesterday between cleaning out old catalogs and putting away the new ones. This one is called "panda" from LaLa Land Crafts. I used a new nesting die for the background that isn't out yet but will be sometime next month. The bamboo is a McGill punch which I thought would be perfect with the panda.
Here's a card I made at the Sizzix booth using the new pop-up flower die. This is what the flower looks like when it's closed.
When you pull on the stem, the flower blooms open. It's so cute!

Sweet Valentine

I'm finally back to posting. We just got back from LA on Friday and I'm so glad to be back home and sleeping in my own bed. All I can say is that the hotel we stayed at was very different and I was uncomfortable for the most part. Anyways, on to my card. I put this card together mainly to show one of the new dies that my hubby ordered at the show. It is the white heart shaped doily on this card. I'm not sure when it will be here but it is on my "to buy" list. The stamp is a cling stamp from Dandelion Designs and the pink heart is embossed with Sizzix's Valentine set #4.
Here's one of the make & takes I did on the last day of the show. The stamp is Chef Marci from La-La Land Crafts.
