Hello Kitty bunny costume sizzlit tutorial

Here is a tutorial to help you put those Hello Kitty sizzlit die pieces together. I've had many requests on how to do the piecing part.Step 1: First off, I always run all the cardstock that I am using to cut the pieces, through my Xyron machine. Keep all your scraps too because they come in handy whenever you do piecing.
I am using the Hello Kitty bunny costume sizzlit die for this tutorial.

Step 2: You will need to cut the die pieces in both white and pink cardstock for the layering part.

I also put a small piece of yellow cardstock to cut the bow at the same time I cut one of the kittys out. I used a black marker to color in the whiskers.

Step 3: Cut the oval perforated piece around the face out. I used a darker pink cardstock to cut a little round piece to place under the footprint. Don't forget to punch the little pieces out first.

Step 4: Peel the backing off the pink piece and adhere over the white. Oops, I forgot to cut the handpieces off the pink piece so the white hands would show through. Do this before you stick the pink down to the white.

Step 5: Turn the kitty over.

Step 6: Peel the backing off. It will be very sticky so try to be careful with it. I should of used lotion because my fingers look dry.

Step 7: Cut tiny little square pieces of black cardstock for the eyes and yellow for the nose. Haha! Looks like a Hello Kitty dough boy.

Turn it over, add the yellow bow piece and put a gemstone on it. And you're done! I did cut the pink hand pieces off so the white hands would show through. I put it on this box that I used for the scallop envelope box tutorial.
